The Eclipse Vape 2O Glass on Glass (GG) is a simple to use vaporizer with Glass fittings to fit either an 18mm or 14mm water tool. The Eclipse Vape 2O may be used for a wide variety of medicinal botanicals. This is unique in comparison to other vaporizer products.

The Eclipse Vape 2O was specifically designed for refined concentrates. It will also vaporize extracts that contain some unrefined plant matter. Not recommended for dry herbs. The detachable disposable / re-useable one dram glass vial used for the reaction chamber, allows you to quickly change from vaporizing one botanical to another avoiding cross contamination simply by changing the vial. The detachable reaction chamber also allows for easy loading of your favorite extracts.

The Eclipse Vape 2O is completely portable, there are no electric or critical moving parts to break. The unit is machined from solid aluminum and is anodized inside and out. Anodizing is a molecular oxide coating, which seals in any leachable metals within the alloy, making it a food grade finish. Real easy to use with concentrates/shatter/wax, seem to get more out of it than dabbing or using vape pens.
Real hard to use with bud/flower. Not that fun with flower. The Vape-o-bowl thing on here is way easier to use for bud at a fraction of the price but can't do concentrates.

After having tried many swings and other methods, I find the Eclipse H20 to be best. The design is highly modular, and includes every connection commonly available with it: 14mm and 19mm gong, and 9 and 14mm slides. All of these are high quality glass connections which connect to the Eclipse body via a high temperature O-ring, replacements for which are included. The included connections are all very cool as they can all pull double duty waterpipe adapters for whip vaporizers, such as the Da Buddha - this greatly increases the real value of the kit, as you are getting 4 awesome adapters included in the price of a highly versatile vape.

Why is it better than a swing? Because you're actually vaporizing. You start at a very low temperature and only ramp up exactly as much as you want through the careful application of flame to the outside of the vial. This is completely unlike a swing, where the the pad is heated rocket hot and then a combustion/vaporization hybrid occurs all at once. With the eclipse there is only the slow gradual increase in temperature if you do it properly, allowing you to get the most out of your material, as far as flavor, efficiency and simply enjoyability. The only breakable components are the vials, which are easily purchased by the box load for little money.

You might find a simple swing for a little less, but consider the awesome bonus addition of four waterpipe adapters to your arsenal, the high build quality of the Eclipse, the superiority of it over a swing, and the fact it's made right in the US. AND you get a great, tough, foam-lined carry-around to store it all in, which can just fit a 7th floor poker. You can take your little package to anyone's pad and know you can connect to their water pipe whatever type it may be, which makes it more versatile than most vapes that come to mind.

I give the whole thing a 8.8 for 10, and a place of honor in my collection.
